The Year of Water is a university-led initiative to convey the connectedness of water – where it comes from, where it goes, and why we should care. It highlights Oregon’s research universities’ role as community and industry leaders and partners seeking to understand and address water-related challenges, leverages the work of many of Oregon’s public higher education institutions, and showcases the happenings of organizations working on behalf of water.

The Oregon Water Atlas (2017) is an aggregation and visualization of Oregon’s water data, using entirely open-source software and coding libraries. It was created as a response to the wide array of publicly available data scattered across the Internet.

The Atlas of Oregon Lakes is a resource for the public, resource management agencies, and scientists to enhance management and enjoyment of our lakes. The online atlas is an updated version of the popular Atlas of Oregon Lakes published in 1985.
